Once Spring comes, our racquet sports start.  Tennis and pickleball are both popular among club members and slots for these activities fill up fast.  Neither tennis nor pickleball are meant for new players; you are expected to be proficient to join the club groups.

Tennis

Mary Jeanne (MJ) Chapman will be heading up the 2026 tennis program this summer. There will be two courts for play every other Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM, at the PC MARC (outside.). The courts will be available on June 10, June 24, July 8, July 22, August 5, August 19, August 26, September 2, and September 16.

If you would like to join us this summer in round robin play, please text MJ Chapman to get on this summer’s list and what dates you are interested in playing. You will receive confirmation of your request and whether you are scheduled or on a waitlist the Wednesday prior. A reminder will be sent 24 hours before date of play. Players who have been confirmed but later need to cancel, must find their own sub and text that name and phone number to MJ Chapman.  Members can find MJ's contact information in the club directory.

Players need to be at a minimum level of 3.0 – 3.5+ for all court play to be balanced. It is important that we have players each week, as there is a charge for the courts. If someone removes their name and doesn’t find a replacement, it affects the play for everyone – so please do find a sub for yourself! There is a nominal court fee that everyone will share when checking in at the MARC desk, $8.00 for the court and $1.75 for the balls, for a total $9.75 per person. A liability waiver will need to be signed at the front desk by each player, as well.

Pickleball

Starting Monday, May 11, 2026 (weather permitting) we will play pickleball on Monday evenings at 6:00 PM, switching to 6:30 PM as the weather gets hotter. Play will be at Willow Creek Park and is free.  In order for this to be fun for everyone, you must be rated 3.0 or higher, as this is not beginner play.
